“Becoming Flawesome” with Kristina Mand Lakhiani

I had the extreme pleasure of speaking with this intriguing writer and entrepreneur on the release of her new book; soon to be on July 13th, 2023, it was refreshing and quite pleasant to enliven her sense of clarity and purpose. Kristina’s portfolio is pretty awesome since she also is a speaker, mother, philanthropist, everyday-life philosopher, and a woman on her own journey of spiritual growth. Additionally, she is also the co-founder of Mindvalley, a global school that delivers transformational education for all ages. With so many responsibilities you can just imagine the level of discipline and commitment that is required of her to get through her day, but she smoothly gives the impression that several people support her, and assist in sharing the planning and execution of her commitments. She oozes confidence and a rooted sense of purpose about her position in life, and how she is willing to always demonstrate good judgment in all her decisions; certainly a model of consistency and hard-earned success. Kristina boldly and vividly confronts and embraces her flaws as being only human, and accepts her truth as being irreplaceable and an integral part of who we all are whether we realize it or not, and while some may be ashamed of or try to hide their flaws, she firmly believes that facing them with admittance is a step forward in holistic self-acceptance. As a token of my appreciation for her giving me that early insight, we have decided to share her current information with you, this is the link for pre-orders of her new book.  https://www.mindvalley.com/books/flawesome?utm_source=kristina

To make this decision so much more informative Kristina has posted a book synopsis for your information and enlightenment. We are extremely happy for Kristina and hope that this publication gives the inspiration that it was intended to and that she gets the support to spread the value of its content to many readers and followers.

From prison to purpose My American dystopian nightmare

Elizabeth Mikotowicz In her 20’s she barely survived a very violent relationship, he assaulted her with a wooden dowel and you could see her skull when it happened. The Drs gave her opioids, and when she refused they threatened her with child protective services because she was pregnant and refusing medical advice. She Was told she was on too small a dose to get addicted. Eventually, she went to the DV shelter and was turned away, they said her injury was too severe and it put the other women in danger. She survived because drug dealers helped her – or took advantage, depending on how you look. She eventually went to federal prison for a nonviolent drug charge. She endured and witnessed so much institutional abuse, corruption, systemic racism, and cruelty; sometimes she still wakes up screaming. But! She’s turned it all around, launched an environmentally friendly feminine brand that’s being sold in stores, and also comes in plus sizes. She has gotten bills put on the table and passed for the good of the people- not corporations and institutions. She is letting the world know what America’s “land of the free” is doing to its incarcerated population which is the highest rate in the world. She also exposes other systemic abuse and corruption that affects Americans daily. She is sharing her healing journey and what she has learned about her own trauma and mental health.    From prison to purpose! Overcoming trauma, addiction, domestic violence, traumatic brain injury, abusive corrupt institutions, and mental health issues! Prison artist to an environmentally friendly fashion designer(comes in plus sizes) inclusive to everyone.

The Power of Owning Your Story/Your Voice Needs to Be Heard

Marsha Vanwynsberghe Storytelling Business Coach, Speaker, Multi-Published Author, 2 xs Podcaster. Years ago, in the midst of dealing with teen substance abuse, I lost my voice, my drive, and shame and judgment ruled my life. I was consumed with trying to fix, manage and control others.     When I started to share my story on small stages, online, on podcasts, I could have never predicted that I would find my soul’s purpose.  I learned that I wasn’t alone in my pain, and realized that the reasons we tend to feel alone is because we don’t like to talk about the difficult things/parts/and stories in our lives. It became a personal mission to share my vulnerable story more openly. I wrote in 3 collaborative books, spoke on stages, launched my podcast, Own Your Choices Own Your Life, and released my bestselling solo book, When She Stopped Asking Why.    Since then, I have been published 7 xs, launched a second podcast, created a brand new business from scratch during a pandemic, recovered from full back surgery, and am more passionate than ever that our stories are meant to be shared to serve, support and impact others.

Are your Manifesting your Reality?

In this video, I seek to address common and wholesome challenges that exist in our search for fulfillment. We often seek to grow and progress, sometimes waiting for the right moment and conditions, but life is often not that simple.  It is better to begin your journey right where you are, start in your present condition, and the right moment of realization will come along. I look at the beauty of our inclusion on this planet and the reason for us being an investment that we can turn into an asset. The success we seek, comes from our ability to become that very thing first and then allow it to be manifested in all that we do, as our actions define who we are, and our goals define who we are willing to become.

Don’t Miss Out on This Amazing Free Chapter!

Perfectionism is one thing that often stands between us and lasting, deep happiness and feelings of peace and fulfillment. As life happens, we fall in love with the idea of who we could or should be instead of with who we actually are – leaving parts of ourselves behind and losing sight of what and who are truly important. How can we simultaneously live as ourselves without ourselves?

These are some of the questions posed, and answered, in Kristina Lakhiani’s book, “Becoming Flawesome: The Key to Living an Imperfectly Authentic Life” <<< And I’m thrilled to share a free chapter of the book here. (It’s not even released yet!!) I had a chance to read through the preview copy Kristina sent me and it was refreshingly honest and insightful. Not all writers can take readers by hand and heart through such hefty paradigms but ‘Becoming Flawesome’ is an epic guide for:

  • Finding your own truth despite the external and internal critics
  • Transforming ideas of the Perfect You into the embodiment of the Real You
  • Letting go of shame and anxiety caused by societal pressure
  • Self-care vs. Self-Love, and why you need both
  • Overcoming Imposter syndrome in the word of high-flyers
  • Emotional Literacy: coping with strong, painful emotions
  • Anyone who opts in for this free chapter will ALSO be registered for the companion webinar

How to fall in love with food again.

Judith Keys: Owner of My Food in France Limited & My Best Friend in France  Judith Keys is the owner of My Food in France Ltd where she runs a paid cookery membership, holds interactive, online, cook-along classes for teams and individuals, and will soon be organizing retreats close to her home in Provence.     Since moving to France in 2013, Judith has been lucky to be surrounded by the finest food markets filled with seasonal, simple ingredients and it has reignited her lifelong passion for cooking.      With two children under 6, she knows how to shop, prepare and cook fun, nutritious family food – as well as creating more show-stopping dishes for entertaining, or that special (but rare) date night.    But it wasn’t always about the food.     When she first moved to France, Judith worked as a Virtual Assistant and then Online Business Manager. It was only when she went on maternity leave to have her second baby in 2021 that the idea for her foodie business was born.     I have always dreamed of starting a foodie business and in January 2022 (whilst on maternity leave with my youngest son), My Food in France Ltd was born!     I run a paid online cookery membership, hold interactive, online, cook-along classes for teams and individuals, and I will soon be organising retreats close to my home here in Provence.

In my most recent attempt to connect from a value-based platform, I looked closely at the struggles of people; professional and otherwise, with regards to Withdrawal, Anxiety, and Burnout. There was a period of my life when everything I did was a struggle, and at times I felt so overwhelmed that I forgot to breathe. Have you ever been to an event and at some point, you feel like the walls are closing in and you just want to get out? Well, here was I getting that Deja Vu feeling almost every day and wondering how to bring it to an end. We sometimes get so caught up in building monuments and satisfying our egos, that the smaller finer things in life just seem to pass us by, and before we know it we have all but forgotten how to live. How to laugh, how to breathe, how to love, how to care, how to become curious like an innocent child all over again, how to be inquisitive and make new discoveries about life, people, and ourselves. How to be passionate about a lover or a calling, how to engage in meaningful conversations and pass time activities. We simply lose our way and ourselves and soon discover that the man in the mirror is a complete and abject stranger, we cannot even recognize our own shortcomings, and we fail miserably to comfort with each passing day those whose lives we inadvertently affect. There is a bright side to all of this, and it begins with a deep and concerted introspection of self, this however, cannot be done unless we first come to a place of total presence and stop all action and all function. We must of necessity be honest and humble about our self-examination, we must be bold and ask the questions that open up our souls to bear the source of the agony we now feel. We must rehearse what went wrong and recall how we stepped off the path of truth, we must endure thorough and disciplined self-admonition, and we must also accept the fact that we must hold ourselves accountable for the actions we took. Perfection is not a process of tangible reality to any man, it will always remain but a fleeting illusion on the horizon of our existence, always tempting us to lurk in the shadows of our imaginations, leaving us breathless and unsatisfied. What we must strive after is self-mastery, this is a more noble and attainable vocation and allows us to discover strengths and shortfalls that combine to challenge our desires to better manage ourselves. So, here’s my simple advice; stop playing roles that are pleasing to everyone except you, stop the false identity that leaves you drained and disillusioned without reward, and stop silently supporting the fallacy of the imposter syndrome. You deserve to be the truest and most unforgettable unapologetic individual you were created to be, stop and learn to smile again, then laugh, take your laughter to the top of a mountain and scream, shout to the world how grateful you are just for being here, and how much you intend to give the universe a great ROI on its investment in placing you here. The universe deserves that, and you deserve to earn your place on this planet. Finally, be generous in sharing and giving, learn to sew seeds of compassion and kindness in the hearts of many, show empathy where and when it is needed, and above all show gratitude that your life matters to the Creator, even if you are not all ok everyone else is.
